"For the Love of Great Music" sums up the Bridgetown Big Band. Bridgetown Big Band is a Portland based group comprised of 18 talented musicians who love to play great music. In addition to a terrific "Big Band Sound" we have featured vocal and instrumental soloists who are pure pleasure to listen to.

 Jazz is America's original art form, and our goal is to promote jazz music for the benefit of our community and education of our youth.

 The wide variety of music in our repertoire offers tunes for those who love to swing and dance or just relax and enjoy. It includes hits from legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Quincy Jones, Duke Ellington, George and Ira Gershwin, arranger Sammy Nestico to Thad Jones and Van Morrison.
